ADHD Coaching combines traditional coaching with knowledge and awareness of ADHD and/or executive functioning deficits to provide specialised strategies and techniques to help you overcome challenges and achieve your goals. This could mean spending additional time addressing obstacles related to time management, learning more about how ADHD impacts your life, or figuring out how to adapt your environment to best support you.
Where therapy focuses more on past experiences and emotions, coaching is action-based and focused on the present and future. Some people may find it helpful to attend coaching and therapy concurrently, but this can be challenging in some circumstances.
